Kanye West's new song "Brand New" with rapper Rhymefest reaffirms that Kanye West still thinks he's the best effing thing in the entire world.

Check out some of the lyrics:

"I don't like it unless it's (Brand New) / You might see me in my (Brand New) whip / With my (Brand New) bitch, pumpin' my (Brand New)shit / You don't like it - Get off my (Brand New) dick"

"And still the motherfucker you love to hate / But can't - because you love what I make / Now ain't - that about a bitch / And I'm a-talk shit until I'm out of hits"

"The survey says - by the streets according / Kanye's just important as Michael Jordan / Was to the NBA when he was scorin' / Ralph Lauren was borin' before I wore him"

Oh that 'Nye, always so humble — some things never change!

What do U think about the new track?

Khloe Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner just couldn't muster up any excitement at the Lakers game, "cheering on" Khloe's husband Lamar Odom.

Especially you, Khloe — your husband is loaded because of these games!

Cults has made a splash on the Internet by debuting online, surrounded by a shroud of secrecy, and dropping their debut EP for free.

They have no MySpace or label that we know of. They just have songs that sound like Badly Drawn Boy meets the PS 22 Chorus.

In other words, we love it!

Check out Cults' lovely Go Outside (below).

Adam Lambert Looks Back On His Nasty SuBo Comments

March 10th, 2010

But he's still not a fan!

Adam Lambert admitted that his mean-spirited comments about Susan Boyle's album were a little over the line saying, "It came across a bit harsher than how it actually went down. But I'm not a fan of the record, it wasn't a lie."

As for people's misconceptions about him and being an American Idol contestant he explains:

"[People think] you come off the show and all of a sudden you are put in this machine and puppeted into this product. That's not my experience at all. I'm a pretty outspoken, upfront, forward type of person, and I have opinions about what I want to be as an artist.

"I told them I want to be glam, be pop, be rock, I want to be everything, blend it all together and have a great time doing it. Be theatrical and be out there."

Good for you, Adam — but we still think you could give SuBo a break! She has a completely different sound and audience in comparison to you!

Who says you need to win American Idol to get big?! (Really all you need is to appeal to middle America!)

Season 8 American Idol contestant Danny Gokey released his new album last week and already it is soaring up the music charts. He has sold over 65,000 copies of his CD, My Best Days, which has landed him at the #4 spot on the Billboard 200 and #3 country album-sales chart.

Crazy!

Somewhere out there, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert are asking themselves, "WHY?!"

Good lord, he is UNBEARABLY attractive.

It's almost too much! ALMOST.

True Blood's Viking Vampire Erik, otherwise known as Alexander Skarsgård , is gracing the pages the El Lay Times Magazine this week looking utterly FLAWLESS.

We think he brings the SEKS all dressed up like that, but to be completely frank, with this one, the less clothes, the better.

Settlement Made In Travis Barker Plane Crash!

March 10th, 2010

Travis already settled, but now it's time for everyone else to get what's owed to them.

The family of Travis Barker's assistant and friend, Chris Baker, who passed in the 2008 plane crash, has been awarded $4,375,000 in the wrongful death lawsuit.

Clay Lacy Aviation, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Learjet paid the $$$$$, which will go to Chris’ 3-year-old son Sebastian to purchase annuities. It is estimated that he will receive $17,404,456.40 over the course of his life.

Baker's widow, Otilia Villar Baker settled for $7,625,000, but the money does not replace a father or husband.

Sad.

Why??? Molly Ringwald Records A Jazz Album

March 10th, 2010

Guess she has nothing better to do? Isn't she still on that show about the pregnant teen? You know, The Bristol Palin Show, or whatever?

Regardless, The Breakfast Club star Molly Ringwald has just finished the final touches on a brand new jazz album. The record will actually be the second in her arsenal, the first having been recorded over 36 years go, when she was six.

Come a long way, haven't ya, Andie Walsh?!

Sources say that Molly completed her work on the album hours before she was scheduled to take the stage at the Oscars to pay tribute to director and friend John Hughes. She explained:

"I'm really excited about it. I haven't come up with a name yet but it's with my quintet that I've been performing with a lot in the Los Angeles area."

Not our kind of music, so we'll just wait till you get your new book out. That we'll enjoy much more!

No Hurt Love

March 10th, 2010

hurt_locker_ver3.jpg

You wouldn't think that an Oscar-winning film would have any trouble at the box-office. You wouldn't think, but it is so!

Summit Entertainment finds itself in quite a pickle this week as it has tried to repitch The Hurt Locker to movie theater chains for another release and no one seems to be biting. For example, Regal Theaters flat out said no, citing the problem is not the film itself, but the fact that it is already on DVD.

Understandable, but it seems to us that it is the kind of flick that is best appreciated on the big screen and with all the buzz, an extra week in theaters couldn't hurt.

What do U think?
